Three monthly care levels for WordPress and WooCommerce sites. You get a real developer, not a ticket queue.
What WordPress maintenance actually means
A WordPress site is not a one-time purchase. Core, themes and plugins release updates every week, and many of those updates fix security holes. Skip them and the site becomes an easy target. Apply them blindly and something breaks on a Friday evening. Maintenance is the careful middle path: updates tested on staging, backups before every change and monitoring that tells you about problems before your customers do.
What is included
- Safe updates: WordPress core, plugins and themes updated on a schedule, tested on staging for important sites and rolled back if something breaks.
- Daily or real-time backups: stored off-site, with periodic restore tests.
- Uptime and SSL monitoring: alerts for downtime, expired certificates and failed checkouts.
- Security monitoring: malware scans, firewall rules and vulnerability alerts.
- Performance checks: a monthly speed review, database clean-up and small fixes.
- Developer support: small content, layout and bug-fix requests handled by me directly.
- Monthly report: a short summary of what was done and what is coming up.
The three plans
There are three WordPress maintenance plans, so you only pay for the level of care your site needs.
- Basic: brochure and portfolio sites that need updates, backups and monitoring.
- Professional: business sites and small stores that need priority support and performance care.
- Special: WooCommerce stores and high-traffic sites that need real-time backups and emergency response.
The exact features and prices of each plan are in the pricing section of the home page. If you only need occasional help, hourly WordPress technical support may be a better fit.
# a typical weekly maintenance run
wp core update && wp plugin update --all && wp theme update --all
wp cache flush && wp transient delete --expiredWhy choose monthly maintenance
It is predictable, it protects your investment and it usually saves more than it costs. One prevented hack or one avoided outage can pay for months of service.
